«Abraham»
The Abraham oratorio is based on the biblical story of Abraham, the forefather of the Jewish people, Israel, and the eldest of the Israelite patriarchs, revered as the founder of monotheistic religion. The oratorio for narrator, choir, organ, and symphony orchestra was composed based on Baruch Berliner’s symphonic poem of the same name.
The piece consists of five movements and a prologue:
- Prologue
Go Forth - The Blessing
- The Covenant
- Abraham
- Ode to the God

A version for narrator, choir, organ, and two pianos was created in 2023 for the Credo International Festival of Sacred Music in Tallinn.
