Fantasia concertante for piano and orchestra «GENESIS»

The Genesis fantasia concertante for piano and orchestra is based on the namesake symphonic poem. Russian composer Andrey Pospelov orchestrated the composition.

The piece includes four movements:

  • Genesis
  • Adam and Eve
  • Cain and Abel (Fugue)
  • The Flood & The Token of Covenant

The first musician to perform the fantasia concertante was the brilliant Russian pianist Philipp Kopachevsky, who premiered it in 2023.
