On December 6 and 7, the premiere of the ballet “Genesis”

On December 4, 6 and 7, the premiere of the ballet “Genesis” to the music of Baruch Berliner will take place at the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev.

Kyrgyzstan was chosen for the production and premiere of the ballet not by chance.

The Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev is a theater with history and traditions – this year the theater opened its 80th season!

This is a theater with a strong ballet troupe, a magnificent orchestra and qualified staff. The theater has an excellent rehearsal base and a wonderful auditorium with a capacity of 850 seats.

Under the brilliant leadership of the DirectorGeneral Almazbek Istambayev, who cares about the theater and constantlydevelops it,the audience’s interest in theater productions and classical art in general has significantly increased.

The theater has already successfully collaborated with the Israeli producer of the Baruch Berliner’s Genesis International Project Nachum Slutzker as part of the production of the symphonic poem “Genesis” by Baruch Berliner. The concert was held at the highest level and received excellent reviews from the audienceand critics.

All this was a decisive factor in choosing a venue for the production and premiere of the ballet “Genesis”.

The choreographer is Dmitry Pimonov, choreographer of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.

Dmitry Pimonov graduated from the Studio School of the Leningrad State Music Hall and the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, worked in Finland, Spain, Portugal, Kazakhstan and many other countries.

He is the choreographer of the musicals “The Master and Margarita”, “The Nameless Star”, “Onegin’s Demon”, “Oscar and the Lady in Pink”, “Miracle Yudo”, the ballet “Divertimento” to music of Leonard Bernstein, “Cocertino bianco” to music of George Pelecis, “Morceaux de fantaisie” to music of Sergei Rachmaninoff, “Daphnis and Chloe” by Maurice Ravel and “Visions fugitives” by Sergei Prokofiev and many other productions.

Assol Moldokmatova, Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic, Secretary-General of the Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chingiz Aitmatov, public figure, academician of the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio, producer and TV presenter, takes part in the production as a narrator. Perhaps there is no such person in Kyrgyzstan who would not know Assol and would not admire her talents, perseverance, wisdom and human qualities.

The well-known Russian conductor Mikhail Kirchhoff, who recently became the principal conductor of the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. Maldybaev, takes part as a conductor.

Mikhail Kirchhoff is a conductor of the Kaliningrad State Symphony Orchestra, the principal conductor of the Moscow Youth Symphony Orchestra, artistic director and principal conductor of the festival “Eurasian stars”. He worked as a conductor of the Istanbul State Opera, the Samsun State Opera, the principal guest conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra “Academy of soloists” (Kazakhstan). Has performed with various orchestras in Russia, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Latvia, Malta, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates and many others.
