On September 4, Baruch Berliner’s Jacob’s Dream to Be Performed in Orlando, USA
On September 4, Orlando, USA, will host a performance of Baruch Berliner’s concerto for violin and orchestra, Jacob’s Dream.
Jacob’s Dream is a violin concerto inspired by the familiar biblical tale of Jacob, who beheld in a dream a ladder reaching to heaven and the Lord Himself promising blessings to him and his descendants.

The concerto comprises three movements, with a cadenza linking the second and third:
Part I. Isaac’s Blessing
Part II. Jacob’s Dream
The Prayer (Cadenza)
Part III. The Gate to Heaven.
Virtuoso violinist Jorge Saade (Ecuador) will join the Orlando Symphony Orchestra to perform the concerto.
