Release took place on January 25

On January 25, a recording of the concert for violin and orchestra “Jacob’s Dream” by composer Baruch Berliner and producer Nachum Slutzker, which was performed in the concert hall of the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic in December 2023, was released.
“Jacob’s Dream” is a cello concerto, also performed as a violin and clarinet concerto, inspired by a famous biblical story. The image of Jacob, who in a dream saw a ladder to heaven and the Lord himself, promising good things to him and his descendants.

The work consists of 3 parts and a cadence between parts 2 and 3:
Part 1 Isaac’s Blessing
Part 2 Jacob’s Dream
The Prayer (Cadenza)
Part 3 Gate to Heaven

The concerto was performed by the Honored Artist of Russia, violinist Graf Murzha, as well as the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Mikhail Kirchhoff.
