Virtuosos of Kyiv is one of the most popular world-class chamber orchestras which is always in demand.
Principal conductor and artistic director of the orchestra Dmitry Yablonsky is a world-famous conductor and cellist, holder of an impressive list of international awards, prizes, positions, and organizer of many music festivals around the world.

The creation of the National Chamber Orchestra Virtuosos of Kiev in 2016 was the realization of a long-standing dream of the famous violinist, Professor Bogodar Kotorovych (1941-2009), the only musician in the world who was entrusted by the Genoa City Hall to play Paganini’s violin twice. The orchestra is acclaimed by the audience and critics in different countries of the world, it brings together talented young musicians of Ukraine, whose average age is 35 years. Most of them represent the school of Bogodar Kotorovych and are laureates of national and international competitions. Young musicians are not alien to popular genres, they collaborated with the group Okean Elzy, ethno-jazz singer Nino Katamadze, and the founder of Deep Purple, keyboardist Jon Lord.

For active creative work, Virtuosos of Kyiv orchestra received the status of Ambassador of Ukrainian Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Only in the first year of its existence, Virtuosos of Kyiv performed more than 120 concerts in Ukraine, Israel, Azerbaijan, Spain, Switzerland.

The high performing skills of the orchestra’s talented musicians, carefully selected musical repertoire and innovative ideas in the presentation of the material cause constant delight and admiration of the public.

In addition to their own concert activities, Virtuosos of Kyiv orchestra constantly collaborates with world classical music stars: Shlomo Mintz, Oxana Yablonskaya, Mark Bouchkov, Gary Graffman, Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi (bandoneon), Kristóf Baráti.

Virtuosos of Kyiv became an integral part of the performances of show business stars: Nino Katamadze, Boris Grebenshchikov, Sviatoslav Vakarchuk, Tina Karol, Jamala and many other popular performers. The ensemble is invited to collaborate both for concert activities and for recording albums.

Virtuosos of Kyiv orchestra is an original and unique group of musicians who have developed its own special performing style, filled with brilliance, artistry, a serious attitude to the smallest details and boundless love for the audience.
