Pavel Dombrovsky

Pavel Dombrovsky is a pianist, a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (class of Professor Lev Naumov).
In 2006, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory (class of Professor Andrei Diev).

Dombrovsky is an associate professor of the department of special piano at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

Pavel is a laureate of the IV International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (Kyiv, 2001, Second Prize), the V Open Competition of Performing Musicians named after N. Sabitov (Ufa, 2002, First Prize), the Marguerite Long–Jacques Thibaud International Competition (Paris, 2004); and a diploma winner of the XII International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (Moscow, 2002).

He performs concerts in cities of Russia, England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Poland, France, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan. His extensive repertoire includes many solo and chamber works of various eras and styles.

Pavel Dombrovsky has been collaborating with composer Baruch Berliner and producer Nachum Slutzker since 2023.
