On January 16, the recording of the concertofor cello and orchestra”Jacob’s Dream”by Baruch Berliner and producer Nachum Slutzker performed by the wonderful cellist Boris Andrianov was released.
The recording was made on November 14 at the Zaryadye Concert Hall at the prestigious international annual Vivacello Festival, the only large-scale project in Russia dedicated to cello music. Over the years, the Vivacello Festival, being on a par with the most famous cello forums in Europe and the USA, has established itself as one of the most striking events of the theaterand concert season. The project has gained a permanent audience, international prestige and the status of a relevant arena for performers of various directions.
Boris Andrianov is a Russian cellist, teacher, Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of prestigious international competitions and festivals, performing in the best halls of the world with the best orchestras and conductors from different countries.
The string ensemble Questa Musica, conducted by PhilippChizhevsky, also took part in the concert.PhilippChizhevsky is a laureate of the All-Russian Conductors Competition. Since 2014 he has been a conductor at the Bolshoi Theatre. He is also the artistic director and conductor of the Questa MusicaEnsemble. Moreover, he collaborates with leading Russian and foreign orchestras. Philippis laureate of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask”.
