World Premiere: Video of the First Part of the Symphonic Poem The Binding of Isaac Performed in Rishon LeZion, Israel

A video of the first part of the symphonic poem The Binding of Isaac for narrator, tenor, baritone, and orchestra has been released on composer Baruch Berliner’s YouTube channel. The piece premiered in Rishon LeZion on September 18, 2025.

Dr. Berliner’s symphonic poem The Binding of Isaac is inspired by the familiar Old Testament story in which God, seeking to test Abraham’s faith, commanded him to offer his only son, Isaac, as a sacrifice

The work consists of five movements:
1. Hineni / Here I am, my LORD
2. The Departure
3. The Question
4. Soul Confrontation (The Binding of Isaac)
5. The Blessing and Prayer
