Premiere of the video “El Maleh Rachamim” from the Israeli dance school DanceWorks Boutique Dance School
Another dance interpretation of the track “El Maleh Rachamim” by Baruch Berliner, Nachum Slutzker and Sergey Krutsenko. This time, the Israeli dance school DanceWorks Boutique Dance School presented its vision.
DanceWorks is a professional dance school, which is led by experienced and award-winning ballet and contemporary dance teachers.
Ivica Bago is the choreographer of the project, artistic director of DanceWorks Boutique Dance School, teacher of contemporary dance and acrobatics, host of national and international competitions.
He is a former freestyle gymnast who competed on the Croatian national team. He took 3rd place at the World Championships in 2005, and between 1996 and 2006 he became the national champion. Ivica began his career as a dancer at the National Theater of Croatia, then moved to Israel and danced with the troupes of Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Polak, Vertigo and the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.
Ivica is currently a freelance teacher and choreographer working on various projects across the country and the world. He has taught at the Thelma Yellin School of the Arts under the direction of David Dvir in Beit Zvi and organizes workshops in schools throughout the country and abroad.
He performs at national and international dance competitions and, among other things, won the Outstanding Choreographer Award at the prestigious international competition YAGP in 2019.
